Top End Rebuild Gasket Kit   

for 1100 & 1200cc Sportster

This is a complete Top End Gasket Kit with silicone rubber rocker box gaskets. The head gaskets are carbon/graphite on a steel core, silicone coated both sides, silicone beaded on one side, and have a steel Fire Ring.

Rocker Base Gaskets are 1-piece style,”SLS” (Single Layer Steel) which is embossed steel with a thin rubber coating. It will give a very good seal and should not need any sealant when used on good rocker and head surfaces.

New Copper Washers come with this kit. If you can still use your old washers and do not need these, save yourself a dollar or two with another of our listings for exactly the same kit except for the washers.

Kit Features: 

  Head gaskets are graphite on a steel core, and have a Steel Fire Ring as well as silicone beading on one side.

  Rocker base (rocker-to-head) gaskets are embossed, rubber-coated SLS (Single Layer Steel).

  Rocker cover gasket washers are fibre or better, and a set of copper washers is included as well.

  Exhaust port gaskets are tapered style wire mesh, compressed and filled to stop leakage. (We can substitute flat race-style exhaust gaskets if you prefer.)

  Will also fit any 86-87 1100cc Sportster.
