Primary Cover Gasket & Seal Kit – “Foamet”

for 1985 through 1993 Harley Evo Touring models

This gasket kit includes all the gaskets, seals and O-rings shown in the photo.

The Primary Cover Gasket is “Foamet” – rubber on both sides of a steel core. It is installed without any sealant; the rubber on the front and back will give you the best seal and doesn’t need any help. This primary gasket – or chain cover gasket – will come to you perfectly flat. We never fold, roll or otherwise allow any gasket to get damaged in shipping.

The Derby / clutch cover gasket is foamet – rubber on both sides of a steel core. It will not leak and no sealant is necessary. On top of the rubber, it has silicone beading on one side.

The Inspection Cover Gasket has also been upgraded to Foamet – rubber on both sides of a steel core. You should find this gasket will seal perfectly every time.

Two Starter Shaft Oil Seals are included in this kit. One is for 1985 through 1988, and the other for 1989 through 1993. You can be sure you have the right seal without worrying about the exact model year.

The Largest Oil Seal is the one you will want for the inner-primary-to-mainshaft.

Two Large O-rings are in this kit.  The thinner one (with the larger outside diameter) is for the inner primary. The thicker but smaller one can be used in place of the derby cover gasket if the groove in the chain cover is in good condition.
