Engine Rebuild Gasket Kit
for 1977-1981 Ironhead Sportster 1000cc

This is a complete engine rebuild gasket and seal kit for the 1977 through 1981 1000cc Sportster.
The standard head gaskets are 0.020″ (0.5mm) thick copper, with 0.031″ cylinder base and rocker gaskets.
The photo shows every gasket, seal and O-ring that is included in the kit you will receive. (The colors of some gaskets may vary.)
We will re-pack the kit. We pack up your kit securely so you can be sure all the gaskets and seals will get to you in perfect condition – anywhere in the world.
****Some kit specs****
- Head gaskets are 0.020″ (0.5mm) copper.
- All the large oil seals have spring-loaded rubber lips. (The very small oil pump seal is too small for a spring.)
- The 12 pushrod cover washers are cork – about 0.175″ thick (just under 3/16″, or approx. 4.5mm).
**We can substitute rubber washers if you prefer.
