This basic gasket kit includes all the gaskets, seals and O-rings shown in the photo.

The Primary Gasket is “Foamet”  The primary (chain) cover gasket is sturdy  “Foamet”, which is rubber on both sides of a steel core. This kind of gasket construction provides a superior seal and you do not need to apply any sealant.

The Large Metal/Rubber Seal  is the inner primary to engine gasket seal is NOT included in this kit, for those who need to do only a basic job without replacing that seal.
*The inner primary seal costs several dollars. If you do want to replace this seal for the job, please purchase our standard kit that includes it. That will be much more economical that buying it separately later. kit without the inner primary seal. Please see our other listings or ask us about it..

The spacer washer – The white washer you see is the peel-off adhesive backing side on the spacer washer which goes on the inner primary housing stud to keep it in place while you are installing the cover. This washer is also “foamet” construction.
