This gasket is 0.030″ thick paper with silicone beading on both sides. Including the beading, the gasket is roughly 0.040″ starting thickness.
The original Harley gasket identified by the OEM part number above, was this same paper thickness but did not have the silicone beading.

Applications:

• 80-84 FLT, FXR
• Our original Accel/Cometic Gasket specifications show 80-84, but we expect it will also fit from 1979 (and the Harley P/N ends in “79”, meaning that was the first year). If you have a 1979, please check the OEM part number of the gasket you need before ordering. If you need the same gasket that fit in 1980, then this gasket is for your bike.
