This is a 0.032″ head gasket made of a material similar to teflon, and reinforced with steel braid.

This is not like some gaskets that have a steel core and a coating that can blow off.  Ours is a molded gasket with the steel braid completely inside the gasket material so it would be extremely unlikely to fail. 

With a price like this – not much more than $3 per engine – we sell a lot of these gaskets to happy customers.
